A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that the German Air Force (GAF) Stuka unit is on 2 hours' readiness for April 7; that a 21st Panzer Division unit with 30 tanks is to move to the front, on April 5; that the GAF are to make a heavy bombing attack on Bone on April 6; and of an Axis convoy being attacked off Bizerta, on April 6; from the Japanese ambassador in Stockholm, giving Stalin's views on the Washington talks, on March 26; from the Japanese chargé in Rome, that Hitler and Mussolini are to meet at Salzburg, on April 4; from the Spanish minister in Sofia, describing King Boris's visit to Hitler, and that Bulgaria is to defend Greece, on April 4; from the Turkish ambassador in Rome, noting pessimism about Tunisia, on April 2; from the Turkish military attaché in London, on the war situation, as of April 2; from the Japanese minister in Sofia, that the Russian national army under General Vlassov is fighting for Germany on the Russian Front; and from the Japanese ambassador in Ankara, that British-supplied tanks are arriving in Turkey, on April 2.
