A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: the German Air Force (GAF) at Tunis' 4th evening report for April 3; a GAF situation report for April 2-3; that the GAF is to make its strongest attacks yet on Allied airfields, on April 3; a 10th Panzer Division tank return, from April 2; a 1st Italian Army report, for April 2, including a tank return; and on the strength and weapons of the German 164th Division, as of April 2; on the Mediterranean: the GAF report the effective use of a smoke screen by an Allied convoy against a torpedo attack, on April 4; and that GAF airfields are to be alert for six escaped English generals, and 2 good pilots; Naval Headlines, covering the German expectation of an attack on Greece; from the Egyptian minister in Ankara, describing a decline in Italian morale, as of March 30; from the Japanese envoy to the Vatican, giving the views of the new Italian ambassador to Spain on Spanish attitudes and on Italy's position, as of March 30; from the Spanish ambassador in London, that Churchill is coming to lunch, on April 1; and from the Japanese minister in Sofia, that King Boris visits Hitler, on April 2.
