A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of new British air defence methods at Bone proving to be an extreme hindrance to German Air Force (GAF) bombers, on April 2; and of elements of the Hermann Goering Division being sent from Naples to Trapani, in Sicily, on April 1; on South Europe: that six English generals have escaped from a camp at Florence, on April 1; and on the Southern Russian Front: that a heavy Soviet attack is expected in the Caucasus, on April 2.
