A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the Mediterranean: the German Air Force (GAF) at Sardinia blame the lack of progress in their airfield construction works on a lack of lorries, on April 1; on North Africa: GAF Tunis reports Allied air attacks on airfields, on April 1; of Allied airfield attacks; of Italian information on landings in the Tunis-Bizerta area, on March 30; and of Army Group Africa's request that air transport is used only for supplies, from March 30; Naval Headlines, covering Axis shipping to Tunisia; from the Italian minister in Budapest, on a Turkish proposal for Balkan entente against the Soviet peril, on March 16; and from the Spanish ambassador in London, on Churchill's broadcast on post-war policy, on March 31.
