A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of the Akarit position being occupied on the Southern Front, on April 1; and that the German Air Force (GAF) sight 500 vehicles in the area from Oudref-Gabes-Hamma, on March 31; on Sardinia: the GAF report losses from an enemy bombing raid, on March 31; on the Mediterranean: that a German secret service report of landing craft in Cyprus was disproved, on March 31; and on the Southern Russian Front: on the repulse of Soviet attacks in the Caucasus, on March 30.
