Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: Army Group Africa reports for March 28, stating that Allied attacks are being held; an Army Group Africa day report for March 28, noting that enemy attacks are being held, but that the 5th Panzer Army suffered a breakthrough; an interim report by Army Group Africa, on March 28; an Army Group Africa morning report, on March 28, that the enemy is being held; and that no JU transports are available to fly a division, just supplies only, on March 28; from the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs: that top priority is to be given to getting information on Allied invasion plans, for 1942 June 29; from the Japanese ambassador in Berlin, giving the German view of Eden's visit to the U.S., on March 20; and from the Japanese ambassador in Vichy, relating the German view that Allied reinforcements in the Mediterranean are for further landing operations, on March 24.
