Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that the 1st Italian Army orders mobile operations to be carried out and the Mareth line still to be held on March 27; that the 10th Panzer Division goes on the defensive, as of March 26; the Chief Quartermaster (QM) reports the details of the supplies and fuel flown to Tunisia on March 26 and the intentions for March 27; and from the Japanese ambassador in Ankara, that the U.K. and U.S. are planning large-scale landings in France, and that the Germans are aware, on March 22 and 24.
