This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that the 1st Italian Army orders mobile operations to be carried out and the Mareth line still to be held on March 27; that the 10th Panzer Division goes on the defensive, as of March 26; the Chief Quartermaster (QM) reports the details of the supplies and fuel flown to Tunisia on March 26 and the intentions for March 27; and from the Japanese ambassador in Ankara, that the U.K. and U.S. are planning large-scale landings in France, and that the Germans are aware, on March 22 and 24.
