Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that the Axis acknowledges the very great Allied air superiority in Tunisia, on March 25; a situation report for March 24-25 for Tunisia; that the German Air Force (GAF) are to make a dusk attack on the Soltane/Rhezene track, on March 26; that considerable motor transport concentrations were sighted in the Soltane area, on March 26; that the supply of ammunition for the 10th Panzer Division is causing the gravest concern on March 25; of Allied penetrations on the right wing of the 21st Panzer Division; that General Messe says that the defence of the sector is of vital importance in order to ensure necessary freedom of manoeuvre, on March 25; and a situation report from the 10th Panzer Division for March 25.
