A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that the Allies have captured a strong point from the Italians; and that Axis reinforcements are called for in El Guettar, on March 23; and that the Commander of the 164th Division is to take over the Mannerini sector, on March 23; that the Secretary of State for the Navy in Vichy, Admiral Abrail, gives instructions to Admiral Godefroy, on March 14; Admiral (Bearn) reports on the Martinique situation, on March 17; and from the Turkish ambassador in Vichy, on an interview with Laval, on March 16.
