Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a report on German Air Force (GAF) raids on the 8th Army, noting that British anti-aircraft defence has improved; that the 2nd Air Corps asks Kesselring for respite as their crews are in need of rest and their aircraft servicing; that the main effort of the GAF for the night of March 23-24 is to be against the 10th English Division; the GAF reports the intentions of the 2nd Air Corps for the night of March 23-24; and a list of worthwhile targets for the GAF in southern Tunisia; and on the Mediterranean: of anti-shipping operations by unit KG-26 during the night of March 22-23.
