A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following correspondence: a minute from C to the Prime Minister (PM) on sigint success against German U-boat communications on March 16-18, noting that the codeword SHARK is to be used in future for such successes. This file also includes the following reports on North Africa: the Tunis Air Corps' reconnaissance reports for March 20 including the sighting of the movement of up to 1200 Allied vehicles heading north to the south-west of Soltane and 40 Allied aircraft on Thelepte airfield; of combat plans for the Tunis Air Corps for the night of March 20/21; and also for March 21.
