A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: the Tunis Air Corps' situation reports for March 13, including a claim to have shot down 14 out of 18 enemy fighters, see 2587; the Germans claimed that one German Air Force (GAF) fighter ace had notched up his 136th kill and another his 133rd; a Tunis Air Corps statement that Allied activities of March 13, both on the sea and in the air, indicated that the planned courses of 2 Axis convoys had been betrayed to the Allies; and of an exchange of signals at the instigation of the Prime Minister (PM) between C and commanders in the field about not compromising sigint in action-on activities.
