Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the Southern Russian Front: of the situation near Kharkov, and that the Germans claim to have made advances, on March 14; on Yugoslavia: a German Air Force (GAF) report on operations on March 11-12, claiming that enemy resistance has collapsed; Naval Headlines; from the Portuguese minister in Bucharest, forwarding Turkish information on Churchill's visit to Turkey, on March 10; from the Japanese ambassador in Ankara, on Allied propaganda on the Mediterranean situation, from March 10; and from the Japanese minister in Madrid, relaying Spanish information on U.S. supplies to the Soviet Union and Spanish-U.S. relations; and on Ribbentrop's visit to Rome, on March 11.
