Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following correspondence: 2266/T20 was sent to General Ismay, see also 2576; and the Prime Minister (PM) orders the Chiefs of Staff (COS) to report on measures to tone up the air defence of England, on March 15. This file also includes the following reports on the Southern Russian Front: of fierce battles in Kharkov, on March 13; and on France: that the German Air Force (GAF) is transferring gliders to Rennes and Beaumont, on March 13.
