Description

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following correspondence: 2265/T32 was sent to the Prime Minister (PM), see 2592; 2265/T35 was sent to the PM, see 2587; 2262/T5 was sent to the Assistant Chief of Air Staff Intelligence (ACASI), see 2565; this file also includes the following reports on North Africa: the German Air Force (GAF) at Tunis report Fortress air attacks on Sousse and Enfidaville, on March 12; of an air attack on Sousse, on March 12; of GAF Tunis' orders for March 13; and German intelligence on Allied convoy sailings in March.
