Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of the German Air Force (GAF) at Tunis' losses and their aircraft available for operations, on March 6; on indications of an Axis attack over the line from Metameur-Tadjera Khir, on March 6; of GAF attacks in the Maetameur area and on Barka airfield, on March 6; and that Axis divisions are advancing west of Metameur on Tadjera Kebir; on the Central Russian Front: on Soviet activity; and on Germany: that the GAF HQ calls for the strictest check on the employment of fighter pilots because of the strained flying personnel situation, on March 6.
