A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that a 1st Italian Army report for March 5 concluded that the Allied forces had reduced and withdrawn from the Mareth Front; that the Axis' Operation CAPRI is scheduled to start on March 6; that the German Air Force (GAF) unit at Kairouan was instructed to increase its airfield security measures, on March 5; a 1st Italian Army report for March 4, noting that Axis units are continuing to move towards their starting positions; a German intelligence report for North Africa and the Mediterranean for March 4, claiming there is no evidence that the Allied forces are preparing to launch a large-scale attack; of Axis plans for March 5; a 5th Panzer Army report for March 4, stating that the Allied forces are reinforcing the whole Tunisian Front; and that the Axis forces are going on the defensive; and on the Russian Front: a summary report for March 5.
