A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a 21st Panzer Division report for February 20 with details of casualties and tank losses; and stating that an attack was repulsed by the Allies; that the Comando Supremo orders the Axis attack in central Tunisia to be halted and the troops to fall back to their jumping-off positions from February 23; that Rommel's forces are to be reinforced by the 5th Panzer Army and both the German and Italian Air Forces are to attack the pursuing Allied forces; and that Kesselring and Arnim consider that the Axis forces should be re-grouped, on February 20, in view of the danger of the present Axis offensive coming to a standstill.
