This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of the German Air Force's (GAF's) recce results for February 21 and plans for February 22 including the deployment of a fighter group to Kairouan, attacks against Tripoli and against an Allied eastbound convoy west of Algiers; a GAF situation report for February 21, stating that Allied forces are withdrawing slowly towards Tebessa; that the Axis Panzer advance continues, on February 21; a Tunis Air Corps' report on the advance of the Axis Panzers, on February 20; the 21st Panzer Division's tank return for February 20; on the reorganisation of the Axis troops on February 20, with the Panzer Army Africa formally dissolved and all forces resubordinated to the 1st Italian Army, with Rommel in supreme command; and on the Russian Front: of GAF reconnaissance plans for February 21 in the face of Soviet advances.
