This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a German Air Force (GAF) situation report on the Axis ground situation as at February 17, noting the capture of Feriana and Thelepte; of a German surprise air attack against Benghazi, on February 17; the Tunis Air Corps' report of February 18, stating that the 10th Panzer Division is advancing north-east through Fondouk, and that the southern group is advancing on Kasserine; and on the Russian Front: that Soviet forces continue their advance, on February 17.
