Description

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a German Air Force (GAF) situation report for February 15, describing a heavy Allied air attack against Kairouan airfield, in which 16 Allied aircraft were destroyed and there were no GAF losses; this file also includes a minute from the Prime Minister (PM) to C with the reply from C.
