This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that Kesselring was informed by the Air Officer Commanding (AOC) the Tunis Air Corps on February 16 of the lost opportunity for a German counter-strike; that the Panzer Army is to make a thrust towards Feriana, on February 17; a German Air Force (GAF) situation report for February 16, stating that Nedenine airfield was evacuated by the Axis and subsequently destroyed by the Allies; and that Axis forces have captured Gafsa and Tozeur airfields; and a Panzer Army situation report for February 15, noting Axis claims of major successes at Sidi Bou Zid; on France: of a successful Allied air raid on Lorient, on February 7; on the Russian Front: a GAF situation report for February 15, detailing air attacks against advancing Russian forces; and 2132/T7 (see 2312).
