Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file contains a message from C to the Prime Minister (PM); and the following reports: on the German Army's strengths and areas of its locations for February 10; on the Mediterranean: a 5th Panzer Army report for February 13, which quotes a 20,000 franc reward offered for the capture of German parachutists in the Oujda area; on the Russian Front: a German Air Force (GAF) review of the ground situation on February 13 covering the 4th Air Fleet, GAF Command Don, GAF Command East, the 1st Air Fleet, Finland and the Air Officer Commanding in Chief (AOCinC) South; Naval Headlines, that air reconnaissances are being carried out in the Bastia-Cap Corse-Calvi area as a precaution against Allied landings; and that the commands at Sfax and Sousse were instructed by the Italian Admiralty to sail German as well as Italian landing craft to Trapani as soon as they are ready.
