Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the Russian Front: a German Air Force (GAF) report for February 12, noting German success against the Soviet bridgehead near Novorossisk; that the intentions for the 17th Army in the Kuban bridgehead are to withdraw according to plan using the air transport of the 8th Air Corps; and that airfields in Kuban and Taman are to be developed using all resources on Hitler's orders; on North Africa: a 5th Army report for February 11, stating that Zannouch station was reoccupied by the Allies; and Naval Headlines, that U-boats in the South Atlantic are to operate off South African ports.
