Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file contains a message from C to the Prime Minister (PM); and the following reports on the Russian Front: a 4th Air Fleet report for February 10, describing Soviet penetrations south east of Kalinin, and in Rostov; a report from the German Naval Officer in Command (NOIC) in Novorossisk, for February 9; Naval Headlines, mainly covering U-boat activities in the Atlantic and the Mediterranean; from the French minister in Bucharest, on the effect of heavy Romanian losses in Russia on morale, on February 4; and from the Greek ambassador in Ankara, of von Papen's interest in the Adana meeting and his anxiety for the future, on February 8.
