Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: the German Air Force (GAF) report that Allied forces are cut off by salt marshes west of the Tunisian frontier; and that the German Africa Corps intend to attack as far as ground conditions permit, on February 9; on the Russian Front: the 4th Air Fleet report that Soviet forces have advanced to a position 40 miles south of Kharkov, as of February 8; and that all serviceable aircraft are to be used to evacuate Taganrog South, on February 9.
