A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on the Russian Front: a reconnaissance report from Air Division Donets for February 7, stating that Soviet forces are continuing to advance; and the German Naval Liaison Officer reports German troops being pushed back by a Soviet offensive south of Novorossisk; the Turkish ambassador in Moscow reports comments made by a French General critical of U.S. actions over the De Gaulle-Giraud issue, and of the Casablanca Conference taking place without Soviet participation, and advocating close cooperation between France and the Soviet Union, on February 4.
