Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a German Air Force (GAF) report for February 1, stating that Allied forces have broken into German positions at Sened; that the German garrison is withdrawing to Maknassy; and that GAF operations were hampered by the weather; on Yugoslavia: a review of the operations of German and Croatian units, against partisan villages and supply lines, and in support of the SS Division, on February 1; and on the Russian Front: a 4th Air Fleet situation report for February 1, detailing Soviet pushes towards the Sea of Azov, and southward towards Lugans on the Donets Front.
