Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a Panzer Army report for January 9, describing anticipation of an Allied attack; that air activities were impeded by a sand storm; and that strengthening of the southern wing was completed in the area of Bu Ngem; a Panzer Army report for January 10, noting no major engagements; and that strong Allied reinforcements are being brought up around Arco; and of the Panzer Army under Rommel's supply position, including deliveries made in December, and requirements for January, from January 9.
