This file includes the following reports on North Africa: the Panzer Army under Rommel's day report for January 8, noting that the enemy build-up continues, and giving the fuel situation; on the Southern Russian Front: the 15 Anti-Aircraft (AA) Division's report for January 8; and a German ground forces report of January 7; the Naval Headlines, covering Mediterranean shipping; and from the Brazilian ambassador in London, regarding rumours as to Churchill's whereabouts; and planning for an Allied offensive, on January 6.
