A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that Rommel allows the evacuation of Hon; on the importance of the Tarhuna-Homs position, on January 5; of the Allied order of battle in Libya and Tunisia, on January 6; of French attacks in south Libya and French units' locations in Tunisia, on January 5; from the German military supply staff at Sousse, reporting enemy air attacks on January 6 and 7; and German Navy reports on Tunisia, for January 7-8.
