A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that the Axis forces at Sousse require column space as rail and ship traffic is impossible because of the air raid damage, on January 1; that rail traffic from Sfax to Sousse is not possible because of damage to the tracks, on January 1; that the railway between Tunis and Sousse has been cut; and that a column is to transport fuel from Tunis to Sousse.
