A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following correspondence: 1897/T2, sent to the Prime Minister (PM) (see 1942); on North Africa: a Panzer Army report for December 31; from the Turkish chargé in Kuibyshev, on the visit of U.S. General Hurley to the Soviet Union on a fact-finding mission for Roosevelt; and Naval Headlines, including that the German Navy is in action against an Arctic convoy; Axis shipping to North Africa; and Axis preparations to demolish Tripoli harbour.
