Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of a successful Allied air attack on the Sousse-Sfax railway, on December 29; that German Air Force (GAF) supply forwarding stations in Tunisia are to guarantee the transport of fuel by land and sea, on December 30; an Allied attack in the Gabes area was reported on December 30; a food shortage in southern Tunisia was reported on December 30; that only 50000 rounds of 7.5 cm ammunition remain in the Bizerta fortress, on December 28; a GAF report on operations in Tripolitania for December 30; that Kesselring proposes a conference with Rommel and Seidemann for December 31; and that Kesselring is to land at Zarzur on December 31 for the conference; and on the Russian Front: of a GAF recce of Archangel harbour and airfields, on December 29.
