Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a situation report from the German Air Force (GAF) for December 25 stating that there had been no further advance by the British in Libya; that De Gaulle's troops from Lake Chad are advancing towards Fezzan, on December 25; that Italian destroyers conveying 1000 Germans are to reach Tunis on December 27; and a situation report on air and naval activity for December 25 in the Sousse and Sfax areas.
