Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that the German Air Force (GAF) finds difficulty in transferring its own units after supplying the Panzer Army under Rommel with fuel, on December 25; that German soldiers at Sousse are suffering from 'gas burns', on December 23; and reports from the 5th Panzer Army for December 24; and on the Black Sea: that German supplies are threatened by Russian naval attacks whilst the GAF is unable to provide protection, on December 23.
