This file includes the following reports on North Africa: Rommel's report for December 22 giving a detailed order of battle of the Axis forces in Buerat; Kesselring reports that the Allies are believed to be concentrating strong bomber forces near the front in Tunisia, on December 23; a German Air Force (GAF) situation report on the ground situation in Libya being unchanged, on December 23; that Kesselring was forewarned of a seaborne attack on Tripoli, on December 23; of an air escort for ships carrying troops that are en route to Tunis, on December 23; that Tiger tanks are to arrive in Tunis on December 25; that the rail link between Tunis and Gabes has been re-established, on December 23; of the Allied position in Tunisia, on December 23; that GAF Tunis has learned that three destroyers carrying troops were to arrive in Bizerta on December 24; and that an Italian reinforcement was sent to Kairouan, on December 21; on Northern Europe: that Iceland is now intended to be the base for launching an offensive against Norway, on December 11; on the Mediterranean: that the Germans have learned of an imminent operation against the Dodecanese, on December 22; and on the Russian Front: of GAF operational orders for December 24.
