Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of a plan for supply organisation for the German armies in Africa; and that Kesselring is to visit, on December 15; a report for December 19, stating that the Allies are occupying Ou Arada and the area south of Dj El Menassir; and that intentions include preparations of an attack on the Fonndouk position south east of Pichon; of operational orders for the German Air Force (GAF) in Tunisia on December 20; and that the Guiseppe Leva was badly damaged in an Allied air raid on Sousse, on December 18; and Naval Headlines, covering the destroyers Legionario, Bombardiere, Corazziere, Grecale, Pigafetta Da Noli, and Zeno being en route for Bizerta with German and Italian troops.
