Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that all bombers not engaged on bombing tasks, together with additional Hells, are to supplement transport aircraft in carrying fuel to the Panzer Army and the German Air Force (GAF) in North Africa, on December 16; that the westward movement of the GAF is proceeding, with Arco, Merduma and Nofilla having been given up, and the most easterly occupied airfield now being at Tamet; and of an urgent need for fuel for heavy road transport, on December 17.
