Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a report from Sousse to the Panzer Army on the unloading of a ship with fuel, on December 14; from the Italian minister in Bangkok on a Japanese retreat from India, on December 10; from the Japanese envoy at the Vatican, on a possible agreement for the Allies not to bomb Rome, on December 11; from the Turkish ambassador in London, giving the views of the U.S. Commander in Chief (C-in-C) of the naval forces in European waters on the war, on December 12; and Naval Headlines, covering shipping sailing to and from North Africa.
