A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a German report of December 13, noting a local Allied withdrawal in Tunisia; that the Fuehrer approves that French officers are to be sent to support the Axis in Tunisia, on December 13; 1816/T17 was sent to the Director of Military Intelligence (DMI) (see 1747 and 1747A).
