Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of Axis plans to use the Grand Mufti to stir up an insurrection in Tunisia, on December 11; a German Air Force (GAF) report of the Axis lines in south Tunisia, for December 13; a GAF report and their intentions for December 12; that the Panzer Army assume a British attack has begun; a German naval report for December 12, noting that a large Allied convoy is en route to Bone; and that the GAF in Finland have maintenance problems because of a lack of heating and light, on December 12.
