Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that Hitler orders all French warships in Tunisia to be handed over to the Italians, as of December 10; that the German Air Force (GAF) in Africa warn of the presence of enemy paratroops and call for airfield security measures, on December 11; the 5th Panzer Army's report for December 9, noting diminishing Allied activity because of bad weather, and that the disarming of the French has been completed; and that GAF Africa leaves the protection of Tripoli to the Italians, due to a shortage of fighters, on December 10.
