A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that the XC Army Corps in Tunisia is to become the 5th Panzer Army; from the Greek chargé in Kuibyshev, that Vishinski predicts further aggressive operations by the Soviet Army, on December 7; from the Japanese minister in Sofia, giving Bulgarian views on Turkish neutrality, on December 1; from the Japanese acting ambassador in Rome, about Mussolini's speech, on December 4; from the Japanese minister at the Vatican, on North African operations for December 5; and Naval Headlines, covering French ships and submarines being taken over at Bizerta by the Germans.
