Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a German Air Force (GAF) report from Gabes on December 8; the German Naval Command in Tunisia report taking over the French arsenal and ships there, on December 8; and the German Naval Command in Tunisia report the completion of the occupation of Bizerta; Naval Headlines, covering that General Nehring orders the disarming of the French; from the Japanese minister in Stockholm, giving Swedish views on the war, as of December 3; the Japanese ambassador in Berlin suggests consideration of a German-Soviet peace, on December 4; and from the Turkish ambassador in Vichy, relaying French information on an Axis advance across Spain, on December 5.
