Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: Naval Headlines for December 6; and correspondence from the Japanese minister in Budapest, relaying the views of the Italian air attaché on British raids on Italy, on December 2; from the acting Japanese ambassador in Rome, describing an interview with Mussolini on December 2; from the Japanese minister in Madrid on the Allied threat to Italy, on December 3; from the Turkish minister in Copenhagen, reporting Danish views on the war, on December 4; and from the Turkish minister in Lisbon, on Allied war plans, on December 4.
