A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that Kesselring deploys aircraft to Gabes on November 29; that Kesselring is dissatisfied with the antiaircraft situation at Bizerta, with the losses there considered intolerable, on November 28; a German Air Force (GAF) report for November 28, including sabotage attempts being expected at Gabes; and on a conference with the Italian chief of the secret service in Libya on November 27 to discuss the protection of an airfield; a GAF report for Cyrenaica on November 28, including an Allied bombing attack against Arco airfield; and on GAF support for ground forces; and a German Navy intelligence report for November 28 covering the Baltic, North Sea, English Channel, Atlantic and Mediterranean.
