A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: that the Axis are short of fuel and ammunition; that extra supplies have been requested from Tripoli; that two British divisions are expected to appear on the approaches to Mersa El Brega on November 25-26; and a detailed report by Rommel on the remote chances of resisting an Allied push in the Mersa Brega area, on November 23.
