Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: a German Air Force (GAF) report for November 24; that the Panzer Army is now at Mersa El Brega; that there has been little Allied air activity; that GAF aircraft have sighted British forces south south west of Agedabia, on November 24; that GAF Tunisia is in urgent need of fighter reinforcements; that forces in Europe are to be at readiness on November 25 for operations against Allied columns west of Medjes El Bab; that a bottleneck has been resolved in the unloading at Tripoli, on November 23; and that Kesselring and Cavallero leave Arco during the afternoon of November 24 following a conference with Rommel.
