This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of Kesselring's orders to destroy the Allies moving towards Tunisia from the Algiers area, on November 23; a German Air Force (GAF) situation report for November 24, including that GAF staff have taken over Gabes, that Italian forces are in Medinane and Foum, and that Allied forces in regimental strength are at Gafsa; on France: that German troops are to continue at a state of readiness until further notice along the west coast, on November 21; from the Spanish ambassador in London, on a lunch with Churchill; on the Spanish mobilisation law; and on a telegram from His Majesty's ambassador in Madrid; and from Madrid to the Spanish ambassador in London, instructions dated November 23 on points that the ambassador should raise when he meets Churchill.
